Extended UV exposure, frequent abrasion, or improper cleaning can damage the surface microbead layer. We recommend selecting weather-resistant products (with UV coating), cleaning with neutral detergent using gentle hand-washing, avoiding hard object scratches, and regularly monitoring retroreflectivity with professional testing equipment. Replace the material when reflectivity falls below 70% of the standard value.

How to prevent cracking of PVC foamed reflective leather in cold environments?
Standard PVC materials become brittle below -20°C. Use cold-resistant modified formulations (e.g., with TPU toughening agents), preheat the material above 10°C before cutting and sewing, avoid folding and compression during storage, and apply PVC repair adhesive to seal any microcracks that may appear.

How to solve edge warping and detachment when applying reflective leather on curved surfaces?
For curved surface applications, first conduct plasma treatment to enhance substrate adhesion, then use high-solids polyurethane adhesives (e.g., 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ 3532). Pre-activate adhesive at 80°C before pressing and reinforce edges with high-frequency welding. For complex geometries, segmented application is recommended.
