DMLM90 road stud

DMLM 90 is a road stud integrating retroreflective and photoluminescent functions. The retroreflective part uses micro-prismatic metallized materials, capable of reflecting light over hundreds of meters. The photoluminescent part employs materials compliant with DIN 67510 Class C standards, which can absorb natural daylight and vehicle headlight beams at night, providing excellent visual guidance for drivers and pedestrians.

1. Integrating Luminescent and Retroreflective Functions

This product integrates both retroreflective and photoluminescent functions. While reflecting light, it can absorb natural daylight during the day and vehicle headlight beams at night, providing excellent visual guidance for vehicle drivers and pedestrians.

2. Long-lasting Photoluminescent Capability

After a certain period of charging, the product can achieve a high luminance of 2,500 mcd/m² within 2 minutes, and the luminance remains at 85 mcd/m² after 60 minutes, making it suitable for emergency guidance in case of sudden power outages.

3. Wide Application Range

The product has a single-tyre load capacity of 15 tons, making it suitable for roads with frequent heavy truck traffic. It has also passed a 500-hour 5% salt spray test and maintains stable performance under temperature shocks from -40°C to 70°C, adapting to coastal, alpine, or hot regions.

Cleaning the Road Surface Before Installation

Prior to installing the road studs, the installation site shall be cleaned to ensure the road surface is dry, free of sediment, oil, and water. Meanwhile, select a flat area of the road surface to facilitate the close adhesion of the road studs to the road, fully optimizing their performance.

Performing Regular Maintenance After Installation

After installing the road studs, regular cleaning and maintenance are recommended. Wipe the surface of the road studs with a cleaning agent to remove dust, dirt, and oil, avoiding the obstruction of retroreflective areas. During winter snow removal, avoid using sharp tools to directly scrape the road studs or damage their structure. After extreme weather events, increase the frequency of inspections and promptly repair damaged road studs.
