DM8900 Platinum Grade Prismatic Series

DM8900 Platinum Grade Prismatic Series is a non-metallized microprismatic lens reflective sheeting, using PMMA front film and its retro-reflective system composed of sealed cells of air backed microprisms, and using total internal reflection technology. It is a highly reflective, durable and self-adhesive reflective sheeting with excellent weather resistance. This product is designed for permanent traffic signs and highway traffic signs that require long-term durability.

Features

1. Excellent processing performance

DM8900 prismatic reflective sheeting has excellent processing performance, moderate thickness, can well cover the defects of the substrate and has strong tensile strength and interlayer bonding strength. It will not deform, delaminate or tear during processing.

2. Excellent bonding performance

DM8900 prismatic reflective sheeting uses high-efficiency pressure sensitive adhesive, which is strong and durable. While bonding the bottom, the thickness of the adhesive layer is moderate, and engraving is convenient and efficient. It will not fall off regardless of the high temperature of 60℃ or the low temperature of -40℃.

3. Strong weather resistance

DM8900 prismatic reflective sheeting uses PMMA surface and has strong durability. The service life is up to 10 years.

4. Excellent reflective performance

DM8900 prismatic reflective sheeting is a reflective material made based on the refraction and total reflection principle of cubic corner cones. The surface finish of each cubic corner cone reaches 5nm and the size error is less than 1μm. It has better reflective effect, longer visible distance and better recognition effect.

How to distinguish DM8900, DM7600, DM5600？

Method: Observe the Yin-Yang stripes on the surface of the product. If there are no Yin-Yang stripes on the surface of the product, it is DM8900; if there are wide Yin-Yang stripes, it is DM7600; if there are thin Yin-Yang stripes, it is DM5600.

Adhesive Application

DM8900 Platinum Grade Prismatic series sheeting is recommended to use on the aluminium and steel boards. When used on a High-density polyethylene (HDPE) surface or PP surface, different kinds of adhesives for these surfaces can be offered.

Entrance Angularity Performance and Orientation

DM8900 Platinum Grade Prismatic series sheeting has a wide angle reflectivity. However, the efficiency of light return from cube corner reflectors is not equal at all application orientations. DM8900 series is recommended to apply at 0°orientation. See the picture below for details.
