Observe Product Structure and Appearance Features
Unique Adhesive Layer: Check the reflective surface of the reflective film, which should have a layer of transparent adhesive, and this adhesive should be able to stably stick to plastic plates such as PMMA. A test can be conducted to observe the tightness of its fit with the plastic plate. High-quality DM8500 reflective film is not easy to have bubbles or fall off after pasting.
Overall Appearance: The surface of high-quality DM8500 reflective film should be flat and smooth, without obvious scratches, stains or damages, with uniform color, and no local discoloration or fading.
Test Core Performance
Comprehensive Performance Testing: Simple durability tests can be carried out, such as exposing the reflective film sample to sunlight, placing it in a humid environment for a period of time, and observing whether it cracks, deforms, ages, etc., to judge its durability; try to bend and fold the sample to test its flexibility; impact the sample with appropriate force to check its impact resistance. Excellent DM8500 reflective film should be able to withstand these tests well.
Verification of Erasing and Adhesion Performance: After stamping the reflective film, use a special erasing liquid to wipe the white ink on the surface. The ink of high-quality products should be easily erased, and there should be no obvious residual marks on the surface after erasing; at the same time, observe the white ink after a period of use or simulated use environment to see if it falls off or fades, so as to verify its adhesion and weather resistance.
Check Anti-Counterfeiting Functions
Check whether there is a pre-printed watermark inside the reflective film, which can be done by means of light transmission observation, etc.; at the same time, check whether there is a laser anti-counterfeiting mark with angle hiding function. Change the observation angle to see if the mark can present hidden patterns or information. Products with these anti-counterfeiting features are more likely to be genuine DM8500.
Confirm Compliance with Standards
Request relevant materials such as product testing reports, and verify whether all indicators strictly comply with the GA666-2018 "Reflective Film for Motor Vehicle License Plates" standard.
